Select Hello Peter please could you send us the Task XML file to We will try and recreate without your XML file, but it will be easier for us if we can see the configuration you are working with. For example - it sounds like the Validation column is a different column to where the default value is set from your description, but with your XML in hand we establish a fix or work around I am sure, or if necessary an interim software fix. Look forward to hearing from you and being able to assist. Lean Software 8/4/2015 3:28:58 PM
Select Hi, I am currently evaluting EDT and first impressions are good, I have had some difficulties but managed to overcome them. However I have been struggeling with one thing for some time now. I have defined a numeric parameter and want this parameter to be the default for a particular (adInteger) column when I import an Excelsheet. I have set the default value for the parameter in the target columns settings as =Parameters!$G$3, I also tried =VALUE(Parameters,,,). Finally I tried to just supply the default value =1. I also tried different formatting settings for the column, but I keep getting the following problem. When I start the task I supply the parameter and rows are loaded from the Excelsheet. The column where the default value is inserted does contain the value (1 in my example) but the validation column displays #VALUE! (direct after the import, before any validation). When I manually type the 1 on the field, the row can be validated with success. What am I missing? Peter de Boer 8/4/2015 3:21:11 PM
