Select We would recommend the ACE driver, however it is possible that HDR=No may have the desired effect with your chosen driver. Lean Software 7/11/2015 12:56:00 AM
Select OK - so is this functionality available only with the ACE driver? My current connection string is Provider=MSDASQL.1;Persist Security Info=False;Data Source=Excel Files; Invesco Houston USA 7/10/2015 6:00:12 PM
Select Certainly yes. Please see this online example - STEP 7 http://www.leansoftware.net/Help/Excel-Database-Tasks/Worked-examples/Loading-data/How-to-import-Multiple-Excel-Workbooks.aspx#S7 Lean Software 7/10/2015 5:34:11 PM
Select Based on a sample file, I created a task whose Data Source SQL looks like this: SELECT [Employee ID], [As of Date], [Local Currency], [FUNDDEF_GRANTVALUE_YTD 03/01/2014 - 02/28/2015_(Local Currency)], [STOCK_GRANTVALUE_YTD 03/01/2014 - 02/28/2015_(USD)], [STOCKDEF_GRANTVALUE_YTD 03/01/2014 - 02/28/2015_(USD)] FROM [{XL-MergeSheetName:1}] WHERE [EMPLOYEE ID] IS NOT NULL Unfortunately, the last three column headers are going to change frequently -- is it possible to generically identify these columns in my SQL? When I tested on the latest file, I got an error message (Too Few Parameters), but when I copied over the original set of headers, it worked. Thanks! Requestor 7/10/2015 5:29:23 PM
