Select Tested and working beautifully! Thanks - this is a big usability improvement for us. CommerceHub 5/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
Select Looking this for you now - you can delete rows using the Clear button - if this is not visible check that the 'Hide clear button' is not checked in the 'More' tab. Clear button will delete selected rows. Insert rows - if we add a new EDT button 'Insert rows..' prompting for the number of rows to insert , we will also add a task option to hide this button. Please could you confirm this will resolve the difficulties. Regards Lean Software 5/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
Select OMG! The "Clear" button is exactly what we need for deleting rows, and it has been there all along. I always thought that it was only for clearing a whole worksheet once you had completed a Send operation. So that just leaves Insertion. Your description of how that would work matches what I asked for. But understanding now the function of the "Clear" button, It would be nice if you could do something similar with an "Insert" button - i.e. highlight the number of rows that you wanted to insert and then just click the button. But I will take what I an get. The "Clear" button is a real find. Thank you! CommerceHub 5/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
Select Here you go Doug : http://leansoftware.net/software/edt_latestbuild_beta.zip Insert will insert same number of rows as is selected. Option within 'More' tab created to allow hide of button. Will sort out the non trusted connection for you tomorrow. Regards Lean Software 5/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
Select We are very close to releasing 2.6 beta. We have a number of requests from companies to tackle, some have been ordered with an agreed rate. We will look into this problem and see how much of this we can deliver initially as a big fix. Lean Software 4/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
Select I'd like to request that a better option be considered for adding or deleting rows in a worksheet. The current approach is clumsy and error-prone and, when there is a large number of rows in the worksheet being editing, is extremely slow. Attached is an excerpt from the user guide that I have written explaining the only way I know of to add or delete rows in a worksheet given the current functionality of the application. What would be far preferable would be to be position the cursor on a particular row and simply ask that X rows be inserted or deleted at that spot (i.e. immediately above the selected row for an 'add' or from the selected row down for a 'delete'). As it stands, if I follow the procedure described in the attached document for a worksheet with several hundred rows, the application goes through a very long and confusing process with the screen flashing for quite a long time. Then it appears to start over and do it a second time. The whole process can take upwards of a minute, longer if the worksheet has more rows in it. I would seem that there must be a better and faster way to simply open up some blank rows in the middle of a worksheet, or delete some existing rows. Thanks for your consideration of this request. It is the #1 user complaint that I am receiving. CommerceHub 4/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
